Chris Brown Still Not Loved

Chris Brown released his new CD, Fortune recently, and while his fans were waiting for his fifth studio album with anticipation, there were others that weren’t so thrilled about it.

Via E Online:

A group of U.K. campaigners has taken it upon themselves to ensure that prospective buyers of Brown’s fifth studio album, Fortune, think before they purchase. In particular, that they think about the singer’s violent past. While it’s unclear how wide their campaign has spread, they have at least hit one of the London HMV megastores, as a photo taken of the store’s shelves proves. As for their message? Really couldn’t be more clear: “WARNING. DO NOT BUY THIS ALBUM! THIS MAN BEATS WOMEN.” Hough

And while Chris’ reps haven’t commented yet, HVM had this to say:

“It was very much an isolated incident and nothing to do with HMV or representing our views,” a spokesman for the store told E! News. “It would appear a member of the public popped into one of our stores yesterday and stickered a handful of CDs.

“These were spotted and quickly removed, but, before we could act, the individual concerned must have taken a photo and sent it to the media. To our knowledge there are no further stickers in our stores now.”

I’m not excusing what Chris did at all, but I do believe people can change, if they are given the opportunity to change, and personally I don’t really think too many people have given him the opportunity to change.  I think while yes there are some people out there that have genuinely given him the opportunity, I also believe there are WAAY more out there that either haven’t, or are pretending to just to see him fail.  What he did was wrong, that is correct, but Rihanna has forgiven him, so I say everyone else move on and educate the men and women out there so something like what went down between Chris and Rihanna doesn’t happen again.
